This page will be updated as regularly as possible with information regarding the spread of coronavirus, and its impact on school.
School is closed except for allocated places and for children of Key Workers.
We will do all we can to stay open for the children of key workers, and for children with certain needs. For these pupils, we will keep the school open over the Easter holidays, including the bank holidays. Children should attend unless they present the main symptoms.
Irrespective of any partial closure, the safeguarding of all of our children remains our top priority. At this time, our school will continue as normal in supporting our vulnerable children and if anyone has any questions regarding this they are asked to make contact with Ms Smailes via the Office email: email@example.com
Please contact the school if you have any queries.
For further information please see the letter below dated 19th March
Please ensure that you are familiar with the NHS advice that families should now isolate themselves - as a family - for 14 days if anyone in the household displays either of the key symptoms:
- new continuous cough, and/or
- high temperature (hot to touch on chest or back)
Similarly, vulnerable groups are advised to minimise all contact, and so we would expect any pupils with high risk conditions to be absent from school.
It is vital that we know the whereabouts of all children. If your child has an allocated place and for any reason your child is not going to be in school, please advise the school office before 9am. This can be done via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or if at all possible via the ParentMail app.
For further information about how we are offering access to online learning due to the partial closure: please read the parent letter from the 16th March.
Up-to-date information on the actions taken by the government are available on the GOV.UK website:
